Figures
Globally, this ant genus with 80 species representing the lion's share falls, however, on the Mediterranean. In Central Europe are only three different species of Aphaenogaster to find, one of which is located in Germany. The preferred habitat is populated characterized by a marked-up tree shrub layer and less by planar surfaces.
Aphaenogaster is as undemanding kind optimal transition from the "beginner" to "advanced", since it enables the ants holder first experience in the simulation of warmer Formicarienklimata collect. Formicarien:
Do you offer the ants a soilnest or Farm as nesting with enough outlet to (we recommend a sole Farmusing). For a youngcolony is a 35 * 25cm Formicarium sufficient. With proper care of these colonies are very popular but Antspecies strong (up to several hundred workers), so an extension of the series with Formicarien "WALK THROUGH" advisable.
